Hairbrush and Comb Set

Our Baby Brush and Comb Set was made after one of our little ones refused to have his hair brushed because he wasn't used to it. If there's a routine from birth, it becomes part of a little one's daily ritual, and brushing hair should be one of these.

Most baby brushes are firmer than they look, so we used ultra soft goat hair, one of the finest natural bristles there is, packed densely so the pressure spreads across the whole scalp instead of digging in at the tips.

It feels closer to a hand stroking their hair than a brush, which is what makes it soft enough for a newborn scalp and for the sensitive part of a cradle cap routine. The beech wood comb has wide set teeth, rounded at the tips, so it parts fine hair rather than pulling it, and that matters most at the back of the head where they sleep and where the tangles start.

Both pieces are hand finished in close grained beech and engraved on the back with your little one's first name or initials, laser cut into the wood so it won't lift or fade. Soft enough to use from the first week, and kept long after the baby years.
